Forty-Six weeks into the 2nd season of the Individual Online Oware League, the number of participants increased by 1 toย ย 108 players from 31 known countries. We welcome buzmbilfide (?) for participating in the tournament for the first time.
This week mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ won the title with a 6.5 points. Drawing with issahfuseinji ๐ฌ๐ญ, who placed 2nd. abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญ placed 3rd completing the top three positions. Losing games to mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ & issahfuseinji ๐ฌ๐ญ. roberisco ๐ฌ๐ญ & ademolaijaya ๐ณ๐ฌ placed 4th & 5th respectively. With this result the Oga Ota of Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ mrjohnson with 251.0 has won the Individual league, with 6 games to spare. He leads abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญ by a slightly increased 48.5 points ahead of the nearest contenders abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญ with 202.5 points. With 6 tournaments to go in this 2nd season of the Individual league. It is now not possible, for abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญ to overtake mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ for the league title. Even if mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ got no points for the remaining tournaments & abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญ scored perfect 7.0 for each tournament, that will earn him 42.0 points. 6.5 points short of equalising with the Oga Ota World wide of online playing.

Please take note, the first three positioned players who are International or Full members of The Oware Society before the league ends, will be awarded cash prizes. Therefore If you place in the top 3, and wish to be considered for a cash award, join The Oware Society before the league ends. If donors & sponsorship can be acquired, and we are able to raise enough funds from member subscriptions we will put in place a prize fund for other categories: top placed, female, junior & continental players who have International, Full or Family membership.
