Fifty weeks into the 2nd season of the Individual Online Oware League, the number of participants has increased by 4 to 119 players from 31 known & unknown countries. We are now in record breaking territory having surpassed last yearโs total of 112 players. We welcome mcx1, lordcity both from Ghana ๐ฌ๐ญ, masterfisz from Poland ๐ต๐ฑ & bw400 from Benin ๐ง๐ฏ taking part for the first time in this seasonโs league. Well done to everyone that made this possible.
This week mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ won the title withย a perfect 7.0 points, congratulations to him ๐๐๐. lordcity ๐ฌ๐ญ returning from more than 6 months absence placed 2nd, losing games to mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌand abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญ. issahfuseinji ๐ฌ๐ญ placed 3rd, losing a games toย mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ, lordcity ๐ฌ๐ญ.
abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญ & zezero ๐ณ๐ฌ placed 4th & 5th respectively. Well done to them & everyone else who participated, especially the single female player vivian256 from Uganda ๐บ๐ฌ. In this edition the top 3 positions were occupied by players from 2 countries Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ & Ghana ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐.
With this win mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ has stretched his lead even further to 270.5 and contributing to the 651.5 points Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ has accumulated for the Nations Online Oware league. With the return of abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญwith 213.5 points from this tournament and their respective performances the 2 points difference between him & issahfuseinji ๐ฌ๐ญ with 211.5 points is maintained. With 3 tournaments to go in this 2nd season of the Individual league it, one absence from either player is most likely to determine who comes out on top.
With the return of serikaktayev from Kazakhstan ๐ฐ๐ฟ & his usual performance in the tournament, his points total went to 194.0. Even if issahfuseinij ๐ฌ๐ญ did not play in the remaining two tournaments it is possible for serikaktayev ๐ฐ๐ฟ to catch up with him, with the difference between them standing at 17.5 points The battle for 5th, 6th & 7th place, between roberisco ๐ฌ๐ญ with 191.0 points e17 ๐ฐ๐ฟ with 188.5 points & harrison01 ๐บ๐ฌ with 188.5 points is even hotter. Stil with a 2.5 & 0.5 point difference between them respectively. Who will occupy these positions in the final tally is any ones guess, and could go either way. Meanwhile abdu256 ๐บ๐ฌ with 133.0 points is on course to overtake Monkftw ๐ฌ๐ง with 135.5 points with a reduced 2.5 points difference for the 8th position. Lower down the ranks the tussle between daallo ๐ฒ๐ฝ with 102.5 points & paulie42 ๐จ๐ฟ with 102.0 points is very close at 0.5 points difference between them. Who will come out in 12th position we will find out in 2 weeks time.
Do well to recruit other players to participate in these tournaments, from your countries in order to enhance your individual & nations scores. The 1st seasonโs record has now been surpassed and we are now in record breaking territory.
