Last weekโs number of active players in the all time top ten players list stayed the same at 4 in number with some changes of players. mrjohnson the Oga Otโa of Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ, ayoboss ๐ง๐ฏ, ayirungo & lordcity both from Ghana ๐ฌ๐ญ. The Oga Otโa of Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ mrjohnson remains in the lead, with a decreased 2298 points, suffering a single game loss & a draw at the hands of ayirungo ๐ฌ๐ญ.
The threshold for entry into the active top ten increased, with sikandou representing Benin ๐ง๐ฏ making it in the list with 1750. Four of the players being in the Yellow zone (1500 - 1799). Well done to the players who managed to make it into this list. ๐๐๐.
The giant of Afrika, Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ continues to dominate the top ten ranking lists, albeit with reduced number of players. 3 & 2 respectively in the all time & active lists: mrjohnson, aiyedunseun, akinking & adebayoademo. Ghana ๐ฌ๐ญ also continues to make their presence felt, with three players in both lists with: akrugu, ayirungo, lordcity, & prof23. grandmastert from Antigua & Barbuda ๐ฆ๐ฌ did not perform asย well as the previous week and was demoted from the all time top ten list. However he remains the only known player from outside Afrika in the active list. Benin ๐ง๐ฏ made produced strong showing last week resulting in 2 & 3 players in each of the list respectively. Benin was represented by leprophete & ayoboss in the all time list & ayoboss, ocato & sikandou in active top ten list.
Well done to all the players on the playok platform who battled in the ashanti roomย during the week and making it as vibrant as it is. Congratulations to those players among the many who prevailed to make it into either top ten lists this week, especially the active list ๐๐๐. It will become even more vibrant once we all engage in recruiting new players, novices to grandmasters to the platform.
